What do you do when an ex goes to jail and owes child support?

What do I need to do when my ex-husband is arrested for murder in another state and we have joint custody of our child, and he owes child support?

As far as custody of your child goes, you may want to ask the Court to give you sole custody based upon the best interest of the child. On the child support, you should contact your local County Attorney's Office and ask for the Child Support Division. They should be able to help you with enforcement questions.
