Is marriage valid

If a thirteen year old girl and an eighteen year old boy change the date on the girl's birth certificate to make it appear that she is sixteen years old and get married, after nine years and the birth of two children to the union, is the marriage legally valid or not?

Re: Is marriage valid

Kentucky law provides that such a marriage can be declared void unless the marriage was ratified by cohabitation after the underaged party turned 18. In other words, an illegal "marriage" can be treated as legal if the couple continues to live together as married after the under-16 minor turns 18.
