Legal Question in Insurance Law in Kentucky

what kind of settlement to expect

I was in a auto accident in March in Louisville ky. Rear ended by 2 cars. Left with whip lash, and left shoulder injury. Other party's fault. They had insurance. I need surgery on the shoulder, I have no health insurance. Have used all of the $10,000 medical benefits. Insurance agency wants to settle. What can I expect to see as a settlement?

Re: what kind of settlement to expect

Don't settle until you have the surgery. You never know what may be the result, and if you settle short, you'll have no recourse. It sounds like a very good case, but you should at the very least have an attorney review the entire matter, including medical reports and records, before you decide to do anything rash. If there is permanent damage, the case may be worth 6 figures. If not, it may be worth substantially less. I'm happy to talk to you if you like. 859-491-5800
