Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Kentucky

Felony while a minor

Back in 2004, when i was seventeen, i found a ring the parking lot of my workplace. it was the owners ring. i gave it to my manager as i was instructed to do. 2 weeks later he gave me 300 dollars for the ring because he sold it to a pawn shop. Now charges are being pressed against me almost 2 years later. My question is, i was seventeen when this happened, what does that mean, and the fact that he waited this long to do something about it...this is my first offense, what is the worse that could happen to me?

Re: Felony while a minor

What charges? Have you received any paperwork (Summons) etc.?

If you were a minor this would be charged in juvenile court. Were you under age when you RECEIVED the money, knowing it was not your manager's property?

Your manager instructed you to give him the owner's ring?
