If a person takes FMLA, can the employer reduse senjority on an employee due to an illness?

No. They can not penalize you for using leave. By the same token, they do not have to let you accumulate seniority while you are off either. If you have other questions, fell free to contact us at ad@bdlegal.com or the number in our profile.
