Legal Question in Employment Law in Kentucky

I signed a non compete 13 years ago and was not compensated. I was recently asked to sign a new one this time will be compensated $1,000. Is the first one not enforceable because I was not paid?

Depends what the contract said. If the consideration you were supposed to receive for the noncompete was money, which they never paid, then it probably wasn't enforceable.
