Repayment of Relocation Costs
I was required to transfer in my job from Texas to Louisiana. I signed a document stating that I would repay relocation costs if I did not remain at the new location for one year. I resigned after 5 months at the new location and signed a Promissory Note for a repayment over 3 years of approx $88,000. I have made the first 6 payments but would like to know if there are any options to negate the remaining portion.
