Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Louisiana

I started a record label. And i have friends who are artists and producers. They know i dont have much money. So they are willing to help me for free. But i still want to do things in a professional way. I need contracts. But how do i make a contract. For people who are helping me for free. Because i dont want them to sue or claim i owe them in the long run. I told them i am helping them to get free exposure. Because i will be promoting and marketing the music. I'm not signing any artists. Just using there songs and making a compilation album. But i need help with contracts for what i'm doing or the right direction to get help!

If you do not hire a competent attorney, you are going to screw yourself, and maybe others you do not intend to screw. If you have a good product, or the potential to produce a money maker, then a competent attorney will see that and might work a deal. However, if you are asking artists, writers and performers to help you for free, and now are going on a free law site for answers to your legal questions, then I predict you are doomed. Sorry to be blunt but getting all of this for "free" does not say much about your product. And I assume you plan to make money for "everyone" involved......so why all the "free" stuff?
