Re: Divorce

You need to file a La C.C. 103 divorce. This is a simple process, it can be done by any attorney relativly cheap, or even under your signature. The problem is the service on your wife.

If you know where she is, you will need to have her served with the petition for divorce or it will not be valid. If you do not, public service, as I think you are talking about with the 'put it in the paper' thing, is not an option in Louisiana law. If you cannot locate her, you will need to get an attorney involved.
