Can you be arrested as an adult age 29 on a charge of Simple Battery from when you were a juvenile age 15?

In Louisiana the prescriptive period (statute of limitations) for a misdemeanor can be no longer than two (2) years. While there are matters which could suspend a prescriptive period, fourteen years seems extreme.
