Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

I was driving home after leaving a friends house. It was raining and at around 2:00-2:15 I ran indo a tree that fell into the road. It blow out a tire and part of the tree dented the side of my car. Do I have a case? My insurance wont cover this.

Probably not. A fallen tree is generally considered to be an Act of God for which nobody is responsible. Moreover, you would likely share the lion's share (if not all) of the fault for hitting the tree. Even though the tree created a hazardous condition, it is your responsibility to drive carefully and defensively and hitting a stationary object usually doesn't cover it.
