Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

minor injured by another minors actions
My 16 year old daughter was punched in the face by another 16 year old. There was no police report. My daughter did not fight back. She had a black eye and swollen nose. She did not want to go to the doctor. It has been 2 weeks and I believe her nose is broken. There are plenty of witnesses to this incident. If her nose is broken is this girl liable for out of pocket medical expenses?

As the attacker is a minor her parents would be liable for damages.

If you can prove she hit your daughter unprovoked, then she AND HER PARENTS are liable.
