Will I be compensated

I was involved in a hit and run accident, but thanks to involved people they got the license plate and the man was found. I was told by my doctor that I have a bulging disk may or may not be caused from the accident, but have never had problems with my back before then. Will I be compensated for my back problem.

Legally, the party that negligently causes damage to another is liable for those damages. There are several issues in your question. Who was at fault for the accident? Were you driving a vehicle? Did you have liabilty insurance on that vehicle? Was the hit and run vehicle insured? If not do you have Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage on your policy.
