Lost property with vehicle still on property. car was given to neighbor and it's still in my name. can i get the car back?

If the car is in your name and you did not give the car to this person or if the property was not declared abandoned, it is your property.

The car is titled just like the property it was on. Unless the loan included the car, then taking the property did not include the car. However, if you left it there and the mortgage company followed the law, it may have been declared abandoned and they became owner of the car. Be careful trying to get it back. Check it all out to make sure you have not lost the rights to the car.
