Legal Question in Family Law in Maine

An 18 year old moving out

I have a friend whose parents are real douchbags. She is 18 but still in high school if she were to move out..?

would her mom be able to come and make her come home. She has all her own bank accounts and her own job and nothing of hers is in her moms name. She also is going to live with her friend, not by her self.

I dont want any personal experiences or you to tell me that this is a bad idea for her to do. I just want legal info.
