Legal Question in Disability Law in Maryland
In Maryland can a guide dog school that is located in New York State, who has not checked on a guide dog in over 3 years, and the original trained student gave the dog up, does the school have any rights to take the dog away from the person who has taken care of and paid for the dog for over 3 years.

You need to hire a Maryland attorney if you want to keep the dog. It sounds like a fight is brewing. If the school needs the guide dog back for an impaired student (regardless of how long it's been), you may consider giving it back -- why do you need the dog so bad when others in need might?
