Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am in France (unable to return to the US) and need to file a child support case (against my child's American father). I have contacted the French US embassy but they don't act as the middleman between I and the State of Maryland (where the father resides). How do I go about filing the case?

You can hire local counsel in the US to bring the matter for you. Your zip code appears to be Montgomery County, Maryland, so the proper court should be the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. There are many family law attorneys in the area who should be able to help with this case.
