Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

question about resonsideration and proposed order

My reconsideration for back support from filing date has been granted. We go today for a 30 minute hearing. However, yesterday I received a signed copy of the order proposed by the master. It was signed off by the jduge. Is it common to finalize an order before resolving the reconsideration issue?

Re: question about resonsideration and proposed order

You probably received the previous order from which you now are requesting reconsideration. If your exceptions had been filed within the required time, the master should have refrained from submitting them to the judge until the exceptions were heard. Ask the master to explain things at your hearing.
