Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Maryland

reposession

I had a vehicle repossesed 6 years ago when i was in military and couldnt afford it. A lawyer calls today for me to pay it back in twelve months but cant afford it. can they garnish my wages

I'd need to see the order that was made several years ago to determine whether there is a valid claim. The limitation period for filing a claim is 3 years in Maryland. Perfection of judgment may have occurred and the 3-yr period would then be not applicable. Contact me to discuss.
