Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

Slip & Fall Accident

I was shopping at a grocery store recently and slipped and fell in the grocery store. It was discovered that there was some grease and chicken skin on the floor that caused me to slip. I did not seek medical attention on the day of the accident, but the next day my right arm and right knee started to hurt (I fell on my right side), so I sought medical attention the following day. Is the grocery store liable and do I have grounds to go after them? Please advise.

Re: Slip & Fall Accident

You may have a cause of action if the store knew about the food in the aisle and failed to clean it up.

You should contact an attorney to protect your rights.

Re: Slip & Fall Accident

You likely have action to bring. Other facts need to be known such as whether the store knew or should have known of the potential for injury to its patrons. In this type of case, damages must be proven.

An attorney's assistance is recommended. (410) 799-9002
