Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Trying to save myself from Foreclosure

I am facing foreclosure for being behind in my mortgage. I received a letter from the lawyers office today for the mortgage company that I need to contact them only. Is there anything that I can do stop the process if I come up with the money in the next couple of days? Do I need to contact a new mortgage company?

Most lenders are willing to try and work something out with the debtor if you haven't reneged on previous such agreements. Contact the collection department at the bank who first contacted you. They can stop the foreclosure if you're able to come to an agreement.
