Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

Who has access to read a will?

My grandmother recently passed. My father is 1 of 6 children. One of his brothers is the executor but not freely communicating the terms of the will. The other siblings know that they are part of the will. Will the will be read to them at some point or can they view this as a public record to see what the will reads?

Re: Who has access to read a will?

Yes, once the will is filed in the probate case in the local circuit court, it then becomes a public record which anyone is free to read.
