Estate Account

My sister and I are Pre Rep of our father estate. She signed checks to pay his last bills. Now months later she took all monies from account before estate closed. What is the outcome?

Re: Estate Account

You should write a letter which details the relevant facts concerning your allegations to the commissioner of accounts who has responsibility for overseeing the administration of the estate for the probate court.

And then, if the commissioner of accounts fails to follow up with appropriate action on your allegations, your next step should be to write the probate court itself in order to request a hearing on the matter in order for the court to address your allegations and impose whatever sanctions on your sister which may be required to restore the estate along with whatever other penalties which the court may deem appropriate, including the removal of your sister as co-executor of your deceased father's estate.
