Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

Do I get a settlement after there is nothing more they can do for me

After Physical theropy for several weeks. Now they tell me that they can not do anything else for me so my arm & shoulder will be not be normal again. Am I entitle to some kind of settlement for being limited to the use of my arm. Since it was my company failt that I fell to start with

Nothing in this world is automatic, and I strongly encourage you to contact an attorney to represent your interests. Nevertheless, the simple answer to your question is: if you were injured and permanently disabled as a result of a work-related injury, you are indeed entitled to compensation. Whether that compensation is structured as a "settlement" is something that you really need to discuss with an attorney.

The Worker's Compensation law is, like all government entities, is complicated. You must first make a claim for injuries. You must also document your treatment. You must have a final disability evaluation. Then you submitt to settle the case or go for a hearing before the Worker's Compensation Commission. To do all this, you need a lawyer knowledgeble in Worker's Compensation law, like myself.
