Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Lowest Price Gaurantee Rugs

I purchased a rug from a store that gaurantees lowest price. Subsequently I found the same rug at another store for $2,500 less. I brought the receipt and rug to the original store and they refuse to match price. They insist there are minor differences in the rug. What are my options?

Re: Lowest Price Guarantee Rugs

This is the problem. How is the language of the guarantee. Are they technically correct?

$2,000 is a lot of money. You should try to contact the manager or owner. If that fails. You can draft and send them a consumer protection letter. You can contact the Attorney General's Office, you can contact the Better Business Bureau, you can contact and retain an attorney.

Should you have any other questions, contact me.
