Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

My ex boyfriend gave our daughter a cell phone and told our daughter not to tell me that she has a cell phone. The ex boyfriend put a tracking device on the phone. Wherever I go with our daughter, he knows where we are. Is this legal? If not, what can be done.

How did you find out about the tracking device? Can the tracking device be shut off? The answers to these questions and others will effect the answer to your question.
