drug adict on probation

My boyfriend is on probation, he does not give urine tests. He is an adict. Can he go to a rehab center without violating probation?

Generally, probationers have reporting requirements to their probation officer. If your boyfriend is able to comply with the terms of probation without admitting this to his probation officer, then he should get the help he needs from the rehab center. Most probation officers are reasonable and would not penalize him for this if he is making a sincere effort to clean up. I guess he knows his probation officer better than most but I believe honesty is always the best policy.
