I am very sorry this happened to you - this is not right.

You should feel absolutely free to move on with your life if that is what you want or to talk to someone if that is what you would like to do. If you feel as though you want to take some sort of legal action against the individual who harmed you, you should speak with somebody as soon as possible or you may lose your right to do so.

I am putting a link below to the Victim Rights Law Center in Boston. They are a non-profit legal advocacy organization that help people who have experienced sexual assault or rape. Everything you tell them is absolutely confidential, and they will simply assist you in helping you accomplish your own goals, whether it is simply reporting the incident, getting restraining orders, seeking prosecution, or filing civil charges.

What happened to you is not right and is not your fault. You have taken the very brave first step of saying out loud that an adult who you and your family trusted hurt you and took advantage of you. I wish you all the best.
