Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I am a 45 year old single male living in my own apartment 100% independent of my parents who are control freaks that get off by controlling my life - particularly in determining which psychiatric medications I take. Can I terminate their Parental Rights so they can never have me institutionalized against my will again?

My father once said to me, "Fuck you and the horse you road in on." He also threatened to call my psychiatrist and to have me evictedfrom ym apartment. He has intimidated me since I was a small child. He has such a violent temper, I used to be terrified of him. To this day, I don't feel safe when I am around him. He knows I am still afraid of him and uses it to control me. I wish he would just leave me alone and stop telling me what to do. Do I have any legal recourse against him?

Sounds like your parents have a guardianship over you.
