Child custody case
My ex filed for custody of our 13 year old son. I did the smart thing and hired a lawyer. Have you ever heard of a case where the judge made the plaintiff pay the legal fees incurred by the defendant if the defendant wins the case?

It is always possible, but unlikely unless there is massive unfairness in tactics.
