Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My fathers son is a career criminal and an alcoholic and drug addict. We are in the process of a divorce but before the break up we were planning to move to Tennesee where sister has a house for me. I can not afford it here. I was told that If it will be better for me and my kids that the courts would not stop me.

Do you mean your "son's father"?

You may want to repost your question, as that may provoke some confused responses.

You also said that you are in the middle of a divorce. If you are in the middle of a divorce, then you should not move withotu permission from the same court where you filed your divorce.

If you have not yet filed for divorce, then you should speak with an attorney before moving. If you move, you may have to litigate your divorce here in Massachusetts, which could be an additional expense and hardship to you.

You should speak with an attorney about your specific situation.
