Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband did not show up for divorce and I just need him to sign a form. We do not live in the same state and the judge said I could just fax it to him. However, I have not been able to get in touch with him and he is avoiding me. How do I get him to sign the form?

I'm not sure which form is missing. Is it a financial statement? Is it the parties' separation agreement? Something else? You should be able to get divorced without the other parties' participation or attendance. You may want to consult with an attorney to assist you in finalizing everything once and for all. Good luck and feel free to contact our office.
