Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Why do the laws protect women, even women guilty of serious crimes, but don't offer the same protection for men?

And why are innocent men being arrested and locked up for domestic violence that never happened?

Women can call the police and have a man arrested and sent to jail for domestic violence that never happened.

Please don't respond with the usual 'Please contact a lawyer about your case'.

I want to hear somebody say the truth, and the truth is, the legal system is bias against even innocent men, and favors women and even women who lie and abuse men.

There are some situations where there is a cultural and social bias. One would have hoped that this is not evident in a police department or court, but sometimes it is there.

Some people play victim better than others. I cannot tell you how many times, I have answered questions, especially from women who ask to retract false accusations. It is not an issue of favoritism but the impact of social engineering that begins at birth. There are myths abound. For instance, women, if given power, would be better leaders, women have a maternal instict, women who claim certain misconduct by men simply do not lie. There are groups that support this myth. What results are failures that harm both genders. For instance, Scott Brown focus on whether Warren had any Indian blood. I do not know and do not care. IIf my parents told me that I was from a certain gene pool, I would not check. SOme people think it is a credible attach. Senatorial candidate Akin talked about an invisible barrier that women have against rapist. It is complete nonsense. His polls first went down, and now they are up again. Women statistically get paid less than men. Some people feel that is ok, other do not.

These are some samples of gender myths and biases. Some favor one group at the expense of the other. The judges, police officers and others are subject to all of the influences that exist in our world. They are mortal and fallible. To think that they can always be aware of their ingrained reactions is an aspiration, but not always a fact.

That we are still fighting and rearguing gender issues today is simply an example that as a society we have not gone far enough. I have represented me who were falsely accused. In at least one case, I found a source that showed clearly that the woman's assertion contradicted the information I obtained. If it was not for this, the court would have issued the restraining order against my client. I do not know how we solve this.
