Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
I live in Massachusettes and was married in South Carolina. My husbands previous marriage was not final before our wedding so I was told I could get it annulled instead of divorce. I already filed divorce. We financed a truck together, in both names and I put $3000 of my money as down payment. (Money came from joint acct that was mine for years but recently added him. The $3000 was from a deposit to me) Also I am on his health insurance because we are "married." My question is if I file to have our marriage annulled instead of divorce what happens with truck and health insurance? Which would be more beneficial to me? I would prefer to have marriage dissolved asap.

You may not be entitled to an annulment. You need to consult a lawyer about annulments and marriage as there is a good faith defense to annulment.
I agree with attorney Pranksy that you may be better off proceding with a divorce. Issues of marital debt, marital support, division of property and assets, etc., are all appropriately dealt with in a divorce by way of a separation agreement. My office charges a flat fee for uncontested divorces, and I believe that may be your cheapest and quickest alternative.
