Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I'm overwhelmed, whats the easiest way to start proceedings?

I have been split up from husband for almost a year. He told me last yr he never loved me and wanted a divorce. We own a 2003 Honda Civic and a condo. We have 2 children, 8 years old and 17 months old. I live in the Condo now with our children and have been paying full mortgage. He is driving our car and making payments. We have not started the divorce process yet. He is giving me $142 a week, but watches our children during the day at my place so I provide all expenses! Neither of us have a lot of money so have procrastinated in getting lawyers and all. but we need to do so now. I'd like to make this as quick and inexpensive as possible! He's trying to get half of the proftis of the condo if/when I sell..and he wants me to keep my name on the car while he drives it so he wont have to get a new loan. Also, he wants to stop caring for the children during the day and have me put them in daycare. Will my having to pay so much in daycare increase his child support? and, I wanted to have the house for myself and get most of the proceeds from sale to get a home for me & the kids but give him $5000 of it & he can keep the car.how do I get him to agree? he also makes some $$ under the table..how do I get courts to give me fair amt for suppor

You should retain an attorney who can draft a Separation agreement based on your respective financial statements and perhaps even advise you as to whether you might be entitled to petition the Court for an allowance from your husband toward your costs and legal fees in prosecuting the divorce action. Good luck.
