Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

im having a problem with my wife she has refused my my right to see or hear from my child no seperation or devorce yet she has told me not till court my question is i feel threatend by her and her boyfriend i think they may try hurting me she has tried to have me put in a hospital can i get a restraining order in mass for this

You can apply for a restraining order if you can show to a judge that she has done or said something to place you in an imminent fear of bodily harm.

As to seeing your child, file for divorce tomorrow. Waiting is silly and under these conditions inexcusable.

I agree with attorney Lebensbaum about filing for divorce. Once you file for divorce, a court can enter temporary orders of child custody and visitation and there will be some amount of oversight. It might be a good idea to speak with an attorney before requesting any kind of relief from the court, as there are intended as well as unintended consequences which should be considered.
