Can an employer not pay for all hours worked on a time card?

A Mass. employer has to pay for all hours worked. If an employee overstates the hours he or she worked, the employer need not pay for hours not worked. If an employee works extra hours without the permission of the employee, the employer still has to pay but is free to fire the employee.

I agree with the previous attorney that an employer must pay for all hours worked. If they do not, an employer may be subject to very high fines and penalties.
