There is a child at my daughters school who is violent - hitting and punching other children. If this child attacks my child, can I sue? The boy is 7.

Re: Child assaulted by child at public school

You can do several things. These include placing the school on notice regarding their liability for failing to protect your child. It becomes more complicated about suing the child and his parents.

As sad as it sound, you can also report this to the police and to the department of social services.

If you have more specific questions, let me know.
