Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts

Terminated from job while on Worker's Comp

I've been on Comp. now for 17 mos. Had major back surgery 6 mos. ago. Still unable to do simple tasks and still under doctors care.

Received letter today from employer stating I've been terminated because I've been out of work for more than 1 yr.

Is this legal and do I need to get an lawyer?

I am sorry to hear about your problems. There may be a discrimination claim, but I would need to know more about the facts of the case. Feel free to call my office, and we can talk this one out. Consultations are free of charge.

Thank you.
