I had a judge grant a motion for a directed virdict on a injury I got from cca treated wood after i cut it for17 years i have (hp) now and iam on oxygen 24_7 Iam 52 years old I NEED TO APPEAL BY MAY 2

Then you need to get the appeal papers filed by May 2. If you can't find a lawyer, you need to do it yourself, b/c the deadline is fixed. Even if someone just helps you get the thing filed, but doesn't represent you, if you don't get the paperwork in on time, the appeal is lost. Usually, the appeal is filed, but the main paperwork is due later, so that will at least buy you some time. So, check with an appellate lawyer to at least figure out a time line for the next two days.
