Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Went away to college at age 17 for a year, did not return for a second year, and did not properly withdraw from the school. I am paying student loans for the first year, and I have proof that I went to community college for the time they are tryng to collect. I am now being sued by a bill collector. Do I stand a chance in fighting this?

No. Your best bet is to negotiate an out with the school.
