Appealing in Michigan

Can I appeal a decision made in Circuit Court? Judge retroactively changed on when the spousal portion of my retirement was supposed to begin.

You can appeal from the circuit court to the Court of Appeals. You have a right of appeal within 21 days. After that, you have to ask for permission (leave) but that must be done within one year. There is no guarantee of being granted an appeal if you let the 21 days pass. William S. Stern
