Re: custody question

A request to change custody is a multi-step, difficult proceeding. It is not possible to explain it entirely on an internet site. Generally, the courts consider the best interest of the child. You should meet with an experienced and aggressive family law attorney to discuss your case.

Re: custody question

Typically, the non-custodial would bring a Motion saying that there has been a "change in circumstances." It is a tough standard to meet and the judge has discretion on these matters. I don't know your situation or if anything's changed, but that's the most specific answer I can give without knowing the details. Good luck.
