My husband and I have been seperated and filed for a divorce by doing it ourself. we went to a session to a mediation and it seems the case went cold my ex said I didn't sign a paper and submit it within the time allowed. What can I do if it is passed the 28 days to submit the papers? I do want a divorce but forgot to sign the paper saying that I agree to the divorce, what would be my next step to finishing this divorce?

Your next step should be a meeting with an experienced family law attorney. The attorney will try to discover whatever errors you and your wife have made since the time the case was filed. The attorney will try to correct any errors and get the case back on track.
I normally recommend that the practice of law be done by professionals, just like the practice of surgery should also be done by professionals. My guess is that you're not qualified to do surgery or practice law.
