Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I want to divorce my wife. We have not lived together for more than 2 years. We have no assets, children or anything together. We were married in Las Vegas. I copied a friend's divorce document, substituting our names and local court. Do we both just sign it and submit it to the court?

No, you have to first file a complaint for divorce in the county where you live. You can submit the judgment at that time as well, but typically, there's a waiting period before the divorce judgment becomes final.
