Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Can he perform my wedding

My cousin is not ordained by the church he attends and often speaks at. My fiance and i want him to perform our ceremony. If he is ordained online by the Universal Life church will the ceremony still be legal? He is trying to get ordained by the United Penecostal Church but it wont be done in time.

The law in Michigan requires that a wedding be solemnized by a ...Michigan minister who is ordained or authorized by the rules of her denomination to perform marriage ceremonies and who is the pastor of a church or continues to preach in this state, or is a minister of the gospel who is authorized to solemnize marriages under the laws of the state in which he resides.
