Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Sleeping arrangments

Is there an age where the child should have their own bed/bedroom in the

state of Michigan? Step daughter, age 7, sleeps with her mother.

Re: Sleeping arrangments

Thankfully, there are no laws regulating these types of things. Would you really want these details in your life regulated by the government? I don't. Furthermore, I personally do not see anything wrong with a 7-year-old child sleeping with her mother.

There is no rigid rule on such things. Most likely, this will fix itself. If the child winds up being 10 years old with the same arrangement, then you really have a problem. Offer to get them a puppy to sleep with. William S. Stern
