Return of engagement ring and return of famly dog

My Fianc'e broke up with me and while I was at work moved out of my home she took the engagement ring and My daughter and my dog what do I need to do to get the ring and my dog back?

You're probably out of luck on the engagement ring. That would arguably be considered a gift over which you would have no claim of ownership. As far as the dog goes, legally your best bet is to file a small claims action for what is called conversion. Conversion is wrongful appropriation of someone else's property with the purpose of assuming ownership of it. What you're going to have to establish is that you indeed owned the dog as an individual and not jointly with your fiance'. Good luck to you, I'm sure this is a pretty tough situation to be in.
