Lease violated

If someone signed a lease to buy (a house) and they stopped making the lease payments and said that they could no longer make the payments, I ended up having to evict them. in the lease agreement they were going to purchase the house for 200,000 I ended up selling the house for 182,000 can i go after them for the 18,000 that we agreed upon? if not can I go after them for the months that they did not pay and for the water bill that was never paid. which is around 4,000.

Depending on the language of the agreement it is very unlikely that you can sue for the the loss on the purchase, but you should see an attorney about it and have them review the language. Depending on your record keeping, it is very possible that you can bring action for non-payment of the rent, utilities, and court and attorney costs.
