Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

parents house

i want to buy my dads house , he stayes at his cabin most of the time and doesnt need a big house, but he wants a life lease, i was told that if i perchase his house and something happen that he goes in a medical care that they can take the house from me. I dont want to buy the house and put lots of money into it , pay the taxes and then loose it. any info on that ?

You need to talk with a professional to set things up properly. You might be able to use a irrevocable trust, but this is a specialized area of the law.
